Responsibilities For Physical Design Engineer, Machine Learning
- Use experience in physical design and machine learning to solve very hard and unique problems
- Work on RTL design, logic synthesis, floor planning, power/clock distribution, place and route
- Handle timing/noise analysis, power/thermal analysis, voltage drop analysis, design for manufacturing/yield
- Collaborate cross functionally with design, power, post silicon, CAD, software and machine learning teams
Requirements For Physical Design Engineer, Machine Learning
- BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Understanding of optimization algorithms, complex data structures, and linear algebra
- Understanding of VLSI fundamentals, including physical design
- Practical experience and knowledge in advanced machine learning algorithms like GNNs, VAEs, transformers, diffusion models, LLMs
- Excellent programming skills in Python and C/C++
- Master's or PhD with relevant publications in Machine Learning and/or EDA algorithms preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
