We're seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer passionate about building tools to streamline our privacy tooling and the Continuous Integration pipeline.
This role is part of a friendly team of problem solvers, debuggers, and engineers working on technologies underpinning Location Services, Privacy and App Access Controls, and more. As a key contributor, you'll work on projects supporting multiple Software teams during all development stages.
Your primary focus will be working with engineers to automate, scale, and innovate our unique development and privacy tools and integration processes. This involves maintaining peak productivity and helping build the best privacy controls experience for our customers. You'll be contributing to our bespoke continuous integration automation system, uniquely tailored for both high-level and low-level system needs.
The position offers an exceptional opportunity to work with engineering teams and make a profound impact on software delivery quality and efficiency. You'll be involved in developing daemons backing APIs across Apple platforms, designing features for millions of users within technical constraints of small, low-power devices, and participating in architecture and code reviews.
Key responsibilities include automating source and build quality verification, working with cross-functional teams on automation requirements, enhancing CI capabilities, and building tools for bug tracking and code review integration. The role requires strong technical skills in C/C++/Objective-C, iOS/macOS programming, and version control, with preferred experience in Ruby or Python scripting and multi-threaded programming.
