Apple Services Engineering powers beloved services like Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Podcasts, and more. Behind the scenes, our internal platforms help ensure creative and technical quality at scale. We're looking for a senior front-end engineer who can take ownership of the web experience, bring technical depth, and collaborate across disciplines.
You'll be the primary front-end engineer on a focused pod within a 20+ person team, building internal video and media tooling used by teams supporting Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Sports. This is a high-impact, highly autonomous role ideal for someone who can balance UI polish with deep system understanding.
The role requires expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript and React skills, with strong command of modern front-end architecture, performance optimization, testing, and security practices. You'll work with a tech stack including React/Svelte and TypeScript on the front end, with Java/Kotlin/Python services. While front-end focused, the ability to work across the stack is highly valued.
Thanks to Apple's unique integration of hardware, software, and services, engineers here partner to get behind a single unified vision. That vision always includes a deep dedication to strengthening Apple's privacy policy, one of Apple's core values. Although services are a bigger part of Apple's business than ever before, these teams remain small, nimble, and cross-functional, offering greater exposure to the array of opportunities here.
The compensation package includes a base salary range of $171,600 to $302,200, plus opportunities for equity through stock programs, comprehensive benefits including medical/dental coverage, retirement benefits, education reimbursement, and more. Apple offers a collaborative environment where you'll partner closely with backend peers and be empowered to explore technical challenges while maintaining focus on delivering high-quality user experiences.
