Job Description

Apple is seeking an experienced STA (Static Timing Analysis) Engineer to join their Hardware team in Cupertino. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Apple SoC (System-on-Silicon) chips for high-end mobile applications.

As an ASIC STA Engineer, you'll be responsible for critical timing verification and closure tasks across various aspects of SOC design. Your work will directly impact the development of Apple's next-generation hardware products, working with state-of-the-art deep sub-micron technologies.

The role combines technical expertise in digital design, timing analysis, and scripting with collaborative teamwork. Responsibilities For STA Engineer

  • Full chip and block level timing closure ownership
  • Develop and maintain methodology and flows for timing verification and closure
  • Generation of block and full chip timing constraints
  • Work on Apple SoC chips in deep sub-micron technologies
  • Work with multi-functional teams on resolving complex timing issues

Requirements For STA Engineer

Python
  • Bachelors Degree + 10 Years of Experience
  • Strong fundamentals in Digital design
  • Proficient in scripting languages (TCL and Perl)
  • Familiarity with ASIC design timing concepts
  • Familiarity with front end tools and methodologies
  • Knowledge of timing corners/modes and process variations
