As a Tools & Automation Engineer on our Power and Performance team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, developing sophisticated tools and automated testing frameworks that ensure customers experience exceptional battery performance. You'll work directly with cutting-edge hardware and software platforms before they reach the world, playing a critical role in validating and modeling power characteristics that define the user experience.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing comprehensive test suites to validate battery life across upcoming Apple hardware and software products, building automated testing infrastructure that scales across multiple product lines, developing robust Python-based test automation scripts, and creating tools for rapid iteration and continuous validation throughout the product development cycle.

Responsibilities For Tools & Automation Engineer
- Develop and maintain test automation
- Execute automated and manual tests
- Engage with cross-functional team members to drive design and implementation
- Bring up dev boards, set up and maintain pool of dev boards for power measurement and analysis
- Develop tools to aid the day-to-day activities
Requirements For Tools & Automation Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of power measurement and analysis techniques
- Strong Python programming skills with demonstrated experience writing test automation scripts and frameworks
- Ability to work effectively in a team and cross-functional environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
