Job Description

The Sensor Architecture team at Apple is a multi-disciplinary team that develops state-of-the-art technologies and sensor modules across Apple's product portfolio, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, and more. As a Touch/Force Hardware - Sensor System Architect, you will be responsible for architecting entire sensor systems for various products, defining key metrics, setting specifications, and ensuring optimal customer experience. The role involves building comprehensive sensor models, conducting physical modeling and analysis, and collaborating with various teams to optimize product performance.

Requirements For Touch/Force Hardware - Sensor System Architect

  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Deep understanding of electrical engineering, transducer physics, and system engineering
  • Experience in modeling, building, and testing complex multi-physics systems
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and COMSOL or equivalent packages
  • Signal processing techniques, both analog and digital
  • Linear algebra, probability, and statistics
  • Circuit simulation experience
