Responsibilities For Wireless Silicon Validation Engineer

  • Define and develop test coverage to evaluate functional blocks and debug silicon issues
  • Work with designers and architects to understand functional blocks and use-cases
  • Write, debug, and integrate new tests for integrated Wireless chipsets
  • Debug complex Digital Interfaces and Power Management Subsystems
  • Work with hardware design engineers to debug silicon issues
  • Support product development builds locally and remotely

Requirements For Wireless Silicon Validation Engineer

Linux
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Strong understanding of SoC/FPGA architecture and silicon micro-architecture
  • Experience in writing basic embedded software routines and test scripts
  • Experience with hardware/software interaction
  • Solid Digital logic fundamentals
  • Good understanding of MAC + Protocol specifications
  • Experience with high-speed memory systems and communication interfaces
  • Hands on debug experience with modern lab equipment
  • Familiarity with interpreting and navigating schematics and layout
