Come and join Apple's growing wireless silicon development team. Our wireless SoC organization is responsible for all aspects of wireless silicon development, emphasizing highly energy-efficient design and new technologies that transform the user experience at the product level. All of this is driven by a world-class vertically integrated engineering team spanning RF/Analog architecture and design, Systems/PHY/MAC architecture and design, VLSI/RTL design and integration, Emulation, Design Verification, Test and Validation, and FW/SW engineering.
In this role, you will deliver an RF integration end-to-end Solution, which includes DUT control development, pre-silicon emulation/simulation, and integrated RF calibration. You will become a central hub enabling different phases from design development toward Apple product's mass production. You will be responsible for Wireless SoC-RF Bring up at the first touch, final Silicon validation results, and compliance. You'll have the opportunity to develop your technical depth in both HW and SW domains, including understanding wireless transceiver architecture, RF system and DSP knowledge, Software framework, RF driver and embedded system, and experience in delivering Apple products until productization.
Responsibilities include: • Develop and integrate RF end-to-end DUT control sequence and verify it with emulation system • Responsible for wireless-SOC RF functionality bring up • Design and develop RF block and/or system calibrations including algorithms and optimizations • RF performance optimization and characterization • Design RF test bench and implement scripts for wireless-SOC control and test equipment communication • Write scripts for data analysis and visualization • Generate RF performance summary reports • Develop RF Calibrations and tests for mass production • Develop RF FW based on Python reference script
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge wireless technology and contribute to Apple's innovative product lineup.
