Responsibilities For Senior Android Software Engineer - Applications
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to bring new features from concept to production
- Optimize app performance, stability, and quality
- Integrate applications with Applied Vehicle OS
- Contribute to technical standards, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
- Stay up-to-date with latest Android development trends and tools
Requirements For Senior Android Software Engineer - Applications
- 5-10+ years of Android application development experience
- 2-4+ years of experience shipped apps at scale
- Deep expertise in Kotlin and Java for Android
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern architecture patterns
- Product-focused mindset
- Self-starter attitude
- Track record of writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and/or Android Automotive OS (AAOS) (nice to have)
