Description For Electrical Engineer Intern

Apptronik is at the forefront of robotics innovation, developing advanced robots to enhance human life quality and address labor shortages. With a rich history dating back to the DARPA Robotics Challenge, our team applies expertise across the full robotics stack to tackle society's most pressing issues. We're creating general-purpose robots designed to operate in human spaces, alongside humans, and with human tools. As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you'll collaborate with Senior Engineers on developing electric systems for various robotic platforms, from ideation to delivery. This internship, starting around May/June 2025 and running through August/September 2025, requires a minimum 10-week commitment. You'll work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week, typically 9am-5pm. We seek candidates pursuing Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields, with strong fundamentals and embedded systems familiarity. Ideal candidates are creative, curious, analytical, and passionate about building things. Requirements For Electrical Engineer Intern

  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an accredited academic program in the United States during the internship term
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Previous coursework or familiarity with embedded systems experience
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Open to learning skills outside of your area of expertise as needed
  • Great team player able to perform within a dynamic start-up environment
