Job Description

Aptiv, a leading global technology company in the automotive sector, is expanding its footprint in Monterrey within Advanced Safety and User Experience Engineering. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you'll be part of developing innovative solutions for safer, greener, and more connected transportation. The role focuses on designing, developing, and validating advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), Compute and Security, and User Experience products following Automotive SPICE processes.

You'll work on real-time embedded systems, developing software for active safety and body control production projects. The position requires expertise in embedded C programming, automotive software development, and strong problem-solving abilities. You'll be responsible for everything from software design and implementation to testing and issue triaging.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of automotive or consumer electronics experience, strong technical skills in embedded systems, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities For Senior Embedded Software Engineer

  • Develop software for active safety or body control production projects
  • Design, code, and test real-time embedded systems
  • Work closely with component teams on interfaces and dependencies
  • Triage issues reported from stakeholders
  • Design and implement internal and customer diagnostics SW
  • Perform static analysis, unit testing, and integration testing
  • Ensure Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety process compliance

Requirements For Senior Embedded Software Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field)
  • At least 6 years of work experience in Automotive Industry or Consumer Electronics
  • Bilingual – proficient in English speaking/reading/writing
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Problem-solving abilities and positive approach to challenges
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Familiar with Embedded C on microcontroller architectures
