Staff Frontend Engineer (Mobile & Web)

Architus, a company specializing in connecting UK and US businesses with top EU engineering talent, is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer for a leading UK energy company's Lithuanian operation. The position involves being part of a growing mobile and frontend team undergoing major transformation to enhance mobile-first capabilities. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including server-driven UI, Firebase (through a Google partnership), and AI-powered features. The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic ownership of frontend architecture, particularly focused on mobile development.

As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you'll be responsible for setting technical direction for React Native and web components, building and leading high-performing engineering teams, and owning the design and implementation of complex features. You'll work closely with UK counterparts in an agile, collaborative environment, driving improvements in CI/CD, observability, testing, and performance.

The ideal candidate should be an expert in TypeScript and React Native, with strong experience in mobile development and cloud services (preferably GCP). You'll need proven leadership experience, strong architectural mindset, and excellent communication skills.
