The position involves end-to-end delivery of SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS projects using the monarch platform, including planning, design, integration, testing, training, and on-site commissioning. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in software engineering with a strong understanding of utility use-cases across electricity, gas, water, and renewables sectors.
As a Project Engineer II, you'll be responsible for deploying complex control systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and working directly with customers to ensure successful project implementation. The role requires a blend of technical skills in programming, database management, and system architecture, along with strong project management and communication abilities.

Responsibilities For Project Engineer II
- Own troubleshooting efforts for discovered variances and deploy resolutions
- Define project requirements through customer communication
- Deploy complex and dynamic control systems
- Provide networking and system/application design
- Perform hardware, software, and system installation, integration, and testing
- Customize system, hardware, and network configuration
- Provide customer support and assistance
- Create training materials and project documentation
Requirements For Project Engineer II
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering or related field
- 1-5 years of experience
- Basic knowledge of computer programming and scripting (Python, C / C++)
- Basic knowledge of computer architectures, networking, databases, and operating systems
- Experience with CAD, Visio or similar software
- Experience with JSON, XML
- Experience with common utility protocols
- Excellent organization, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong commitment to providing superior customer service
- Ability to work on several projects in parallel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability and flexibility to travel to customer sites
