Responsibilities For Principal Quantum Operations Engineer

  • Build, commission, troubleshoot and improve scientific hardware and control interfaces
  • Work with state-of-the-art techniques in atomic physics and quantum computing research
  • Participate in commissioning of quantum computers and knowledge transfer in Copenhagen, Denmark
  • Collaborate with experimental physicists, hardware, and software engineers

Requirements For Principal Quantum Operations Engineer

Python
  • PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years experience in building, deploying, or operating commercial quantum computing hardware
  • Strong independent troubleshooting skills for complex hardware and software systems
  • Experience with Python and Git software version control (preferred)
  • Capable of lifting and moving objects that weigh up to 25 pounds
