As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to solve complex problems and drive innovation. The role involves everything from rapid prototyping to building production-ready systems that scale. You'll have the freedom to work from anywhere, whether it's a mountain cabin or a beach town, as long as you have reliable internet connectivity.
The ideal candidate brings strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise, experience with modern frontend frameworks, and a proven track record of building complex, lasting systems. Responsibilities For Senior Frontend Engineer
- Architect and deliver front-end systems that power thousands of real guest experiences daily
- Work across the stack — from customer-facing features to internal systems
- Rapidly prototype new ideas to validate opportunities and drive innovation
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations to solve cross-functional problems
- Write high quality code that serves its purpose well
- Review code and engage peers to focus on technical quality and pragmatic decision-making
- Participate in the full development lifecycle — from ideation to post-launch support
- Help shape our engineering culture and technical direction
Requirements For Senior Frontend Engineer
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript - you can build with confidence and speed
- Knowledge of React, React Native, Next.js, MobX
- Demonstrated experience building complex systems that have stood the test of time
- Empathy towards users and care deeply about the user experience
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding fundamentals of the backend and data (Node.js, Scala, Python, Apollo, GraphQL, PostgreSQL and Clickhouse) is a plus
- Experience working in or building startups is a strong plus
