Senior Site Reliability Engineer II

Axon is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer II to join their mission of protecting life through innovative safety and justice solutions. This role is part of the APX SRE organization, where you'll be instrumental in delivering solutions for mission-critical cloud native services. The position requires a deep expertise in Kubernetes and cloud platforms, with a focus on building robust, scalable infrastructure and tooling that enables product teams to deliver innovative features.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience and strong technical capabilities in cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, managed languages like Python and Go, and modern DevOps practices. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing foundational platforms that allow engineering teams to provision services rapidly, consistently, and securely. The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic influence across the engineering organization.

As a US citizen-only position due to classified federal data handling requirements, you'll work in a remote setting, reporting to the Manager of Site Reliability Engineering. The compensation is competitive, ranging from $150,000 to $230,000 based on location, plus comprehensive benefits including 401k matching, healthcare, mental wellness support, and professional development opportunities.
