Responsibilities For Senior Control Engineer (PLC Software Developer)
- Lead design, development, and testing of advanced automation and robotic control systems
- Develop control algorithms for early prototype and proof of concept robotics
- Contribute to machine control architecture concept development
- Drive architectural and design changes in mechanical and electrical systems
- Work collaboratively with team using Agile methodologies
- Build relationships with project managers, engineers, operations teams, and vendors
- Follow regulatory requirements and company design procedures
Requirements For Senior Control Engineer (PLC Software Developer)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics or Robotics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in robotics and automation field
- Experience with DC motor control
- Experience developing PLC and PC based motion control systems
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (IEC 60601, IEC 61010, ISO 13485, ISO 14971)
- PLC experience with design, modification, and application
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
