As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will:
- Develop structured, editable visuals (SVG/JSON) that accurately represent scientific concepts
- Design models that capture appropriate detail, layout, and structure to communicate complex biological concepts
- Build technology that understands biological research nuances
- Implement natural language-based editing of visuals while preserving scientific integrity

Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer
- Design and execute AI/ML initiatives for figure generation
- Build and optimize ML models for design understanding
- Prototype and productionize ML models
- Evaluate figure generation systems end-to-end
- Influence ML system and data infrastructure
- Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders
- Communicate technical insights and recommendations
Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer
- 6+ years of experience
- Expert knowledge in Object Detection, Image Segmentation, Computer Vision, Deep Learning
- Experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experience with distributed model training
- Experience developing custom model architectures
- Programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with ML model operations and scaling
- Cross-functional collaboration experience
