Job Description

Blinq Technologies is revolutionizing professional networking with their digital business card platform that facilitates over 50 million new relationships annually. Having raised $45M+ from prominent investors like Blackbird and Square Peg, they're experiencing rapid growth and expanding globally across Sydney, San Francisco, Melbourne, and New York.

As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of scaling Blinq's infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance for millions of users. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, requiring expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and modern DevOps practices. You'll be responsible for architecting resilient systems, establishing reliability standards, and mentoring other engineers while driving organizational reliability strategy.

The position offers a unique opportunity to join at a crucial growth phase - the company is well-established yet small enough for individual impact. You'll work in a hybrid environment (3 days in office) with a team committed to building high-impact solutions. The role demands 7+ years of experience in SRE or similar roles, deep technical knowledge, and strong leadership capabilities.

Blinq offers compelling benefits including equity ownership, competitive compensation, generous PTO (20+ days), extensive parental leave (12-26 weeks), and various office perks. The engineering team is described as tight-knit and focused on meaningful impact, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to shape the future of professional networking while working on challenging technical problems at scale.

The company's impressive 4.9/5 App Store rating from 140k+ reviews demonstrates strong product-market fit and user satisfaction. This role presents a chance to join a well-funded, fast-growing company that's reimagining how professionals connect and network globally.
