R&D Design Engineer

Broadcom, a global leader in semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, is seeking an experienced R&D Design Engineer to join their team in Fort Collins, Colorado. This role focuses on the design and physical implementation of high-performance System-On-Chip ASICs, working with cutting-edge 5nm or smaller advanced process nodes.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on state-of-the-art ASIC designs for AI, computing, and networking products. You'll be handling complex designs with multi-100 million gate complexity, utilizing both commercial and in-house EDA tools. The role combines technical expertise with customer interaction, requiring both strong hands-on competency and communication skills.

As an R&D Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, participating in design flow and methodology development to address the challenges of deep sub-micron processes. The position requires extensive experience in digital physical design implementation, along with in-depth knowledge of CPU/DSP architecture and algorithms.

The compensation package is highly competitive, ranging from $108,000 to $172,800 in base salary, plus additional benefits including discretionary annual bonus and equity awards.
