Responsibilities For Staff Engineer - Platform Services
- Shape technical strategy and North Star Architecture
- Guide design and implementation of services and components
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineering teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives spanning Trust & Safety, Identity & Access Management, Scheduling, and Calendar
- Contribute hands-on to critical initiatives
- Develop and articulate service vision and capabilities
- Participate in on-call rotation
Requirements For Staff Engineer - Platform Services
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud computing
- Experience performing major architectural refactor
- Experience building and maintaining high-traffic, high-availability platforms
