Responsibilities For Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Remote - EMEA)
- Operate and maintain cloud infrastructure across GCP and Hetzner, including Kubernetes clusters (GKE, Rancher)
- Manage core infrastructure components within Kubernetes, such as Hashicorp Vault, Redis, and NGINX Ingress
- Monitor system health using Grafana dashboards and alerts to ensure availability and reliability
- Enhance security by implementing refined authorization, network segmentation, and data encryption strategies
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve developer workflows
- Identify opportunities for infrastructure improvement, including cost optimization, enhanced monitoring, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
Requirements For Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Remote - EMEA)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a major cloud provider
- Strong growth mindset, resilience, and a proactive approach to solving challenges
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, multicultural, and agile environment
- Flexibility to manage occasional deployments outside of core working hours
