Staff Platform Engineer - Big Data Platform Management

The Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to join their Big Data Platform Management team in Singapore. This role is crucial for advancing Singapore's national security interests through Counter-terrorism and Computer Network Defence initiatives.

The position requires an experienced professional with at least 8 years of experience in managing Big Data Platforms. As a Staff Platform Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Big Data infrastructure platform, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies including Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL databases, and various data lake solutions.

Key responsibilities include managing Big Data clusters, implementing storage solutions, ensuring platform security, and collaborating with data engineers and scientists. You'll be working with technologies like Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Elastic Stack, and more. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in distributed systems, DevOps practices, and experience leading engineering teams.
