Responsibilities For Data Engineer
- Develop code for data tools in Cloud (AWS) to perform expected data aggregation and processing operations
- Support, troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing data pipelines
- Define, create and deliver high-quality data pipelines
- Participate in Data Validation process
- Design and configure cloud infrastructure
- Design, build, install, test and maintain data management systems
- Ensure all systems meet business/company requirements and industry practices
- Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies
- Develop defined processes for data mining, modeling and production
- Recommend ways to improve data reliability and quality
- Analyze and organize raw data
- Create data marts for data scientist's analysis and visualization tools
Requirements For Data Engineer
- Solid experience in designing, building and testing data pipelines
- Strong experience using Python for data (collection, cleaning, transformation, joining, reading and writing data frames)
- Comfort in learning new frameworks
- Experience with Cloud (especially AWS Glue)
- Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
- Knowledge of non-functional requirements (performance, security, privacy, GDPR)
- Knowledge of cloud data platform (AWS RedShift, AWS EMR, SnowFlake)
- Knowledge of unit, integration and E2E testing
- Knowledge of different SQL and NoSQL databases
- Ability to share knowledge with junior team members
