Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

CI&T is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team and work on a project in the construction industry for a significant US customer. The role involves ensuring and evolving the quality of multiple systems, working closely with teams in the USA and Brazil. The ideal candidate should have a full understanding of the Test Pyramid, solid experience in test planning strategies, test case writing, and test automation. They should be comfortable working in a mature DevOps environment with continuous integration and delivery. Advanced English proficiency is required for effective communication with different teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing testing strategies based on the Test Pyramid
• Planning and executing test cases/scenarios
• Automating tests and working in a DevOps environment
• Collaborating with clients to understand business requirements and test scenarios
• Sharing knowledge with junior team members

The ideal candidate will have experience with front-end test automation tools like Cypress, BDD with Gherkin and Cucumber, performance testing, and monitoring quality metrics and software coverage evolution.
