Job Description

Cimatron, a part of Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions (SMF), is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join their team in Pune, India. This role offers an opportunity to work on advanced CAD/CAM software solutions that serve the manufacturing industry worldwide. As a Junior Software Developer, you'll be working in an Agile environment, contributing to solutions that address global manufacturing challenges.

The position involves working with C++ to develop commercial CAD/CAM applications, requiring strong mathematical and computational geometry knowledge. You'll be part of a team that creates and maintains software components for toolmakers and manufacturing professionals, using state-of-the-art development practices and technologies.

Responsibilities For Junior Software Developer

  • Design, develop, and test software to resolve defects and implement user stories

Requirements For Junior Software Developer

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • 1-2 years experience in developing CAD/CAM commercial applications in C++
  • Experience developing for Microsoft Windows using Visual Studio
  • Experience with standard software development practices
  • Understanding computational geometry and algorithms development
  • Understanding of object-oriented development
  • Analytical and Problem-solving ability
  • Good Mathematical knowledge
