Cisco is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer passionate about finding defects in code and improving the quality of our Cisco products!

Who You'll Work With We are looking to hire a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Secure Client Team. The Cisco Secure Client helps enable a highly secure connectivity experience across a broad set of PC and mobile devices.

Our diverse groups deployed products on over 130 million latest desktop and mobile devices, including iPhone, Android, and Windows Phones. Join us!

Who You Are You are self-motivated, driven, and engaged. You're passionate about testing and enjoy collaborating in a team-based environment. You have fun learning new technologies. You want to get to the bottom of things, understand what's happening, and make a difference! You are someone who doesn't give up when faced with complex problems.

Required Skills:

  • 5-8 years of work experience in software testing supporting the area of endpoint testing, and end-to-end testing across various operating systems.
  • Detailed knowledge of STLC, test planning, testing, defect tracking management and reporting.
  • Experience in test infrastructure creation - firewall, ASA, FTD, IPS, IDS, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, AAA, 802.11 technologies.
  • Proficient in functionality testing, system, regression and user acceptance testing.
  • Capable of quickly learning and delivering solutions as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Good experience and knowledge of L4-L7 protocols, cloud testing, traffic generator tools, and Wireshark.
  • Working experience in Agile environment and scrum.
  • Ability to work well in both team environment and individual contributor.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem diagnosis skills are a must, coupled with a keen interest in learning and excellent communication abilities.

Highly Desired Skills:

  • VPN technologies, Remote access
  • Endpoint Security software product
  • Working knowledge on the different OS platforms
  • Virtualization experience (EXSI, VMware)
  • Experience with Cloud technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, a related field.
