Software Consulting Engineer II (Full Time)

Cisco is seeking a Software Consulting Engineer II to join their team. This role involves driving solution delivery improvements through automation, testing, and best practice implementation to optimize deployments, accelerate customer value-realization, and improve overall service reliability. You'll interact with professional services delivery, Product Management, and BU teams to integrate automation in offers, improving quality and customer experience. Collaboration in transformational initiatives to define and improve new delivery methodologies in accordance with DevOps and SRE models is also expected.

Key responsibilities include:

• Multi-tasking, self-starting, and working in a diverse team environment
• Applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues
• Taking on new challenges and developing new skills
• Programming in languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java
• Working with Linux, networking concepts, OS fundamentals, embedded development, and/or machine learning
• Performing QA, testing, and debugging
• Working with databases, web application development, and web services
