The role demands a strong background in electrical engineering with at least 5 years of experience, particularly in automotive/powertrain systems. The ideal candidate will lead technical investigations, create electronic circuit designs, and work with embedded software teams to develop comprehensive solutions. Responsibilities For Lead Engineer Electrical Design
- Review customer specifications and establish product electrical requirements
- Perform requirement analysis and validation planning
- Create core and customer electronic circuit designs
- Generate technical requirements for electrical architecture
- Generate hardware/software interface specifications
- Design and test vehicle level electrical and electromagnetic performance
- Lead technical investigations and resolutions of electrical issues
- Develop relationships with suppliers
- Work independently while managing tasks and responsibilities
Requirements For Lead Engineer Electrical Design
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience
- Experience with schematic capture (Altium)
- Experience with electronic circuit debug, test, and simulation tools
- Experience with requirement management tools (Doors or Jama)
- Fluency in English required, German B2 level preferred
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suites)
- Solid communication and organizational skills
