This senior-level position focuses on electronic design and development of battery management and ultra-capacitor systems, combining hardware and software expertise in an automotive context.
The role demands a strong background in electrical engineering with at least 5 years of experience, particularly in automotive/powertrain systems. The ideal candidate will lead technical investigations, create electronic circuit designs, and work with embedded software teams to develop comprehensive solutions. They'll need expertise in schematic capture tools like Altium and proficiency in circuit debugging and simulation.

Responsibilities For Lead Engineer Electrical Design
- Review customer specifications and establish product electrical requirements
- Perform requirement analysis and validation planning
- Create core and customer electronic circuit designs
- Generate technical requirements for electrical architecture
- Generate hardware/software interface specifications
- Design and test vehicle level electrical and electromagnetic performance
- Lead technical investigations and resolutions of electrical issues
- Develop relationships with suppliers
- Work independently while managing tasks and responsibilities
Requirements For Lead Engineer Electrical Design
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience
- Experience with schematic capture (Altium)
- Experience with electronic circuit debug, test, and simulation tools
- Experience with requirement management tools (Doors or Jama)
- Fluency in English required, German B2 level preferred
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suites)
- Solid communication and organizational skills
