Responsibilities For Lead Engineer Electrical Design
- Review customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory standards
- Perform requirement analysis and validation planning activities
- Create core and customer electronic circuit designs
- Generate technical requirements of electrical architecture
- Generate hardware/software interface specifications
- Design and test vehicle level electrical and electromagnetic performance
- Lead technical investigations and resolutions of electrical component issues
- Develop relationships with suppliers
- Review electrical design analyses and test results
Requirements For Lead Engineer Electrical Design
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of professional engineering experience
- Experience with schematic capture (Altium)
- Experience with electronic circuit debug, test, and simulation tools
- Experience with requirement management tools (Doors or Jama)
- OE Automotive/Tier 1 experience with powertrain systems
- Experience with Lithium-Ion battery systems
- Fluency in English required, German B2 level preferred
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suites)
