Responsibilities For Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer
- Managing large-scale data platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with business goals
- Supporting Redshift and PostgreSQL databases in hybrid cloud environment
- Managing HA architectures, disaster recovery, and backup/restore processes
- Developing Python and shell scripts for data migration and application development
- Implementing repeatable builds, automation, documentation, monitoring and observability
- Participating in design and application review sessions
- Managing database lifecycle including new build, upgrading, and retiring
Requirements For Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer
- 7+ years experience working in an AWS cloud environment
- Strong experience in building and working with complex Redshift deployments
- Hands on Infrastructure as Code experience, specifically Terraform
- Deep proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with version control systems, CI/CD practices
- Proven experience with observability and monitoring at scale
- Understanding of data lakehouse patterns, vector stores, and graph databases
- Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science or related discipline preferred
