Senior Software Engineer - Digital Assets

ClearBank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Digital Assets team. As the most senior engineer in the team, you will lead the technical direction, act as a technical escalation point, and mentor junior staff. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering new software products within the digital assets space, working with large-scale applications and frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and leadership skills, and experience in system design and implementation through to production.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the team's technical direction
• Designing and delivering scalable solutions for a growing customer base
• Working with large-scale applications and frameworks
• Mentoring junior team members
• Taking ownership of system design and implementation

Required skills:

• C# (.NET)
• Automated testing
• Database experience (Cosmos DB and Azure SQL)
• Kubernetes (AKS)
• Messaging systems (Azure Service Bus)
• Microservices architecture
• Cloud computing (preferably Microsoft Azure)

Desirable experience:

• Monitoring and Alerting
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Financial Domain experience, preferably in digital assets (blockchain)
