Implementation Engineer

Cloudflare is seeking an Implementation Engineer to join their Professional Services team, working in a post-sales landscape to provide technical execution and guidance for enterprise customers. This role focuses on implementing and optimizing Cloudflare's Layer 7 products including DDoS Protection, WAF, API Gateway, and Bot Management.

The position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills, with responsibilities spanning from solution design to hands-on implementation. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, with occasional weekend support for specific changes. The role involves about 30% travel.

As an Implementation Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring customers maximize their Cloudflare investment through proper implementation and migration services. You'll work with cutting-edge security and performance technologies, creating detailed solution designs, and managing technical implementations while following customer change management processes.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of internet protocols and security technologies, and scripting abilities.
