Senior Systems Engineer - London & Lisbon

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in either London or Lisbon. As a key member of Cloudflare's engineering organization, you'll work on systems that span the globe, operating at massive scale across 330+ cities worldwide. The role involves building and maintaining critical infrastructure that powers millions of websites and businesses.

The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse technical challenges, from TLS/HTTP proxies and content optimization to serverless platforms and massive data pipelines processing over 250M events per second. You'll be part of a team that builds robust, secure, and high-performance distributed systems that directly impact the performance and security of the internet.

The ideal candidate should have strong systems-level programming skills, experience with Go and/or Rust, and a deep understanding of distributed systems.
