Cloudflare is seeking a Threat Advisory Solutions Engineer (TASE) to join their cybersecurity team in Lisbon, Portugal. This highly technical role combines hands-on security expertise with customer-facing responsibilities. As a TASE, you'll be part of a 24x7 team helping customers diagnose and mitigate cyber attacks using Cloudflare's security portfolio.
The role requires deep understanding of network protocols, security systems, and threat analysis. You'll work directly with customers experiencing attacks, leading technical discussions and implementing solutions. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Solutions Engineering teams is essential for providing comprehensive security solutions.

Responsibilities For Threat Advisory Solutions Engineer
- Lead technical discussions with customers under cyber attack
- Handle attack mitigation using Cloudflare technology and tools
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to analyze threat data
- Provide insights to Sales and Solutions Engineering teams
- Create threat advisory reports and collateral
- Provide 24x7 on-call support on rotational basis
- Work weekends on rotational basis
Requirements For Threat Advisory Solutions Engineer
- Experience performing technical analysis of threat event data
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols
- Knowledge of security systems (firewalls, IDS, IPS, anti-virus)
- Knowledge of information security principles and practices
- In-depth knowledge of operating environments (Microsoft, Linux & Other)
- Understanding of scripting and security tools
- Working understanding of database systems
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Advanced written and oral communications
