Cloudflare is seeking a Threat Advisory Solutions Engineer (TASE) to join their cybersecurity team in Lisbon, Portugal. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring deep understanding of Cloudflare's Security portfolio. The position involves being part of a 24x7 on-call team that assists customers during cyber attacks, providing diagnosis, solutions, and mitigation strategies.
The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of security intelligence, incident response, and customer support, leveraging their technical knowledge to protect Cloudflare's diverse customer base. You'll collaborate with multiple teams including Sales, Product, and Engineering to analyze threats and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities For Threat Advisory Solutions Engineer
- Lead technical discussions with customers under cyber attack
- Handle attack mitigation using Cloudflare technology and tools
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to analyze threat data
- Provide insights to Sales and Solutions Engineering teams
- Create threat advisory reports and collateral
- Provide 24x7 on-call support on rotation basis
- Work weekends on rotational basis
Requirements For Threat Advisory Solutions Engineer
- Experience performing technical analysis of threat event data
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols
- Knowledge of security systems (firewalls, IDS, IPS, anti-virus)
- Knowledge of information security principles and practices
- In-depth knowledge of operating environments (Microsoft, Linux & Other)
- Understanding of scripting and security tools
- Working understanding of database systems
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
