Founding Engineer

Cluely is pioneering the future of AI assistance with their desktop copilot platform. As a Founding Engineer, you'll be joining a rapidly growing startup that has already achieved significant market success, crossing >1m in ARR within three weeks of launch and securing enterprise commitments. The role focuses on building a revolutionary always-on AI assistant that can proactively offer help by accessing screen and audio inputs.

The technical challenges are significant, including achieving sub-100ms response times, implementing multimodal context compression/stitching, and delivering contextually accurate, proactive responses. You'll be working with modern technologies like Electron, TypeScript, and React to create a seamless desktop experience.

The company offers exceptional compensation, with base salaries ranging from $400K to $1M, plus significant equity (0.5-1%). Additional benefits include free housing, food, and transportation.
