Job Description

Cognition is an applied AI lab that builds end-to-end software agents, including Devin, the first AI software engineer. They aim to create collaborative AI teammates that allow engineers to focus on more interesting problems and empower engineering teams to pursue ambitious goals. As a GTM (Go-To-Market) Engineer, you will own the technical aspects of the customer lifecycle, from deployment to activation, ensuring customers successfully use Devin. You will work closely with customers to understand their technical challenges and identify ideal use cases for Devin. Building strong relationships with customer engineering teams to drive product integration and adoption, you will also provide customer feedback to influence the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Own all technical aspects of the customer lifecycle – from deployment through activation
  • Ensure customers are successful using Devin
  • Work closely with customers to understand their technical challenges
  • Identify the best use cases for Devin to be a productive contributor
  • Build deep relationships with customers’ engineering teams
  • Ensure smooth product integration and adoption
  • Activate top users and drive product utilization
  • Listen to customer feedback
  • Implement requested features
  • Advocate for the customers’ needs with the rest of the team
  • Exercise product instincts to help set the roadmap

Requirements

  • Track record of success building and selling deeply technical products
  • Natural relationship-builder and excellent communicator
  • Comfortable discussing complex technical topics with customers
  • Technical experience as a software engineer or forward-deployed engineer
  • Thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments
  • Exceptional ability to learn
  • 2 - 8 years of experience as fullstack software engineer at companies with exceptionally high engineering talent bar
