Staff Software Engineer

Confido is building an AI-native operating system for brands that sell into brick-and-mortar retail. We're building intuitive and powerful software paired with AI agents that help brands automate thousands of hours of tedious manual work involved in scaling a brand in retail. Our platform is trusted by major brands like Baskin Robbins and Olipop to manage billions in retail revenue through our accounting and planning products.

As a Staff Software Engineer at Confido, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Lead development of AI-powered features using computer vision and NLP for financial document processing
• Scale data collection capabilities across multiple sources
• Build financial analytics and forecasting systems
• Work directly with customers to understand needs and create intuitive user experiences
• Design and implement user interfaces that transform complex data into actionable insights

We're looking for someone with:

• 7+ years of full-time engineering experience, with preference for backend or ML/AI expertise
• Strong technical background and ability to architect systems from the ground up
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and feature development
• Passion for early-stage startups and willingness to work across the full stack
• CS degree or equivalent preferred
• Interest in learning the CPG industry
