Responsibilities For Automation QA Engineer - Mid Level
- Build important integration and end-to-end automated tests
- Enhance existing test coverage
- Document acceptance criteria for user stories
- Build test plans balancing automation with manual verification
- Ensure software quality for web and mobile applications
- Identify and report issues in tracking system
- Manage and document test cases
- Help team elevate their ability to deliver quality software
- Build tests to expose bugs
- Perform smoke testing and release regression testing
- Ensure automated tests run early and often
Requirements For Automation QA Engineer - Mid Level
- 2+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience writing UI and API test automation for web applications
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
- Experience writing Selenium tests
- Experience with junit or other equivalent testing frameworks
- Good communication skills and strong work ethic
- Experience with programming languages such as Golang, Java, C#, JavaScript
- Good understanding of CSS, HTML and the DOM
- Strong skills and experience testing APIs
- Good understanding of Git and pull request workflows
- Solid understanding of agile methodology
- Quality-minded with ability to elevate others
