Our Client is a multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.
FUNCTION
Answering to the EPCI Installation Manager and the Project Installation/Construction Manager, the main activities of the function include:
- Provide management and leadership at the landfall works location during all project phases
- Ensure safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of all landfall works related elements of the EPCI scope of work
- Ensure a high level of quality consistent with a project design life of 30 years
- Monitor and manage all facets of work within the landfall works scope
- Implement a readiness process for site activities
- Report issues to the project upstream installation / construction manager
- Provide reporting function for landfall work activities
- Ensure readiness reviews and equipment inspections are prepared and findings are closed out
- Ensure compliance with project technical requirements
- Resolve detailed interface issues efficiently and cost-effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (geotechnical, civil, or mechanical engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 15 years relevant track record in offshore construction industry including landfalls, land pipelines
- Sound experience in management of on-site contractors
- Ability to develop good working relationships and progress collaborative problem solving
- Fluid communicator capable of representing the project professionally
