Crusoe Energy is seeking Senior/Staff Software Engineers for their Bitcoin mining operations team to work on cutting-edge distributed infrastructure and tooling. The role involves designing and scaling carbon-reducing operating models, managing critical hardware, software, and network components. Key responsibilities include writing and reviewing code, evaluating tools and frameworks, and optimizing digital currency mining operations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional software development experience, expertise in modern compiled languages, and a strong background in distributed systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on robust, scalable systems across global data centers
  • Develop scalable, fault-tolerant patterns and practices
  • Lead initiatives like tech talks and open source development
  • Work with cutting-edge ASIC technology for Bitcoin mining
  • Solve complex orchestration problems in varying atmospheric conditions
  • Shape the mining products roadmap and mentor emerging engineers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Expertise in languages like Go, Rust, Java, or C++
  • Experience in architecture and design of scalable systems
  • CS degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong CS fundamentals and distributed systems knowledge
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices, infrastructure tools, and Unix/Linux
  • Experience with concurrency and network programming
  • Excellent communication skills
