Responsibilities For Functional Safety Engineer
- Performing functional safety assessments for functional safety SIL designated products
- Providing assessments and verification to IEC/ISO published standards
- Delivering FMEA functional safety analysis
- Identification of safety-critical functions
- Responding to technical sales enquiries
- Preparation of project quotation proposals
- Conducting on-site assessments and technical audits
- Management of client relations
- Sharing knowledge with other staff through communications and training events
Requirements For Functional Safety Engineer
- Degree in electrical/electronics, software engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Product Design
- In-depth understanding of electrical/electronic circuitry
- Background in electronic design with software development
- Familiar with embedded hardware design and software design
- Basic understanding of software languages like C, C+
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Good communicator, works well as part of a team
