Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Software Testing Engineer to support the development and implementation of business-critical software. The role involves designing and executing comprehensive test plans, detecting issues, and providing critical feedback to ensure software systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing testing scripts, performing automated and manual testing, conducting various types of testing (white box, black box, gray box), detecting and reporting bugs, assessing metrics, documenting procedures, and providing actionable feedback.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with experience in Agile and Scrum development environments. They should be proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, SQL, and JavaScript, and have experience with cloud environments, compliance software, and automation tools.

Responsibilities For Software Testing Engineer
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software that meets business needs
- Design and execute test plans, procedures, and scripts to validate software and system modifications
- Develop testing scripts using various programming languages
- Perform automated and manual testing procedures
- Conduct white box, black box, and gray box testing
- Detect and report bugs, errors, security issues, and coding inconsistencies
- Assess metrics such as user acceptance, scalability, and performance
- Document and maintain test procedures
- Report detailed findings from testing procedures
- Track software defects using bug tracking systems
- Provide actionable feedback on software enhancements
Requirements For Software Testing Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- 5+ years of experience with one or more programming languages
- 3+ years of experience in software testing methodologies
- 3+ years of experience working in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- 3+ years of experience with configuring and running compliance software
- 3+ years of experience with automation and test management tools
- Experience with web services such as SOAP, REST, Parquet, and JSON
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance is preferred
