Job Description

Datadog, a leading global SaaS company in the observability and security space, is seeking a Security Engineer to join their Vulnerability Management team. This role combines software engineering expertise with security focus, working on critical systems that protect Datadog's multi-cloud infrastructure. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while building and maintaining tools that identify and remediate vulnerabilities across the company's products and services.

The role requires strong technical skills in both software development and security, with the successful candidate expected to architect and implement solutions that scale across a large, distributed organization. You'll be working with modern technologies including Golang, Python, and Java, while dealing with cloud-native architectures and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

As a Security Engineer at Datadog, you'll be responsible for developing automated systems that handle vulnerability detection, assessment, and remediation. You'll collaborate with various teams to improve the company's security posture and build sophisticated reporting capabilities that support multiple compliance frameworks including SOC2, HIPAA, PCI, FedRAMP, and ISO.

The position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for both collaborative office time and remote work flexibility. You'll be part of a company that values professional growth, diversity of thought, and innovation. Datadog's culture emphasizes both individual contribution and team collaboration, making it an ideal place for engineers who want to make a significant impact while working on challenging security problems at scale.

This role is perfect for someone who combines strong software engineering skills with a deep interest in security, enjoys working on complex technical challenges, and wants to be part of a fast-growing, successful public company that's transforming how organizations monitor and secure their cloud infrastructure.
