Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Decagon, the leading conversational AI platform, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure to join their Engineering team in San Francisco. The Infrastructure team is crucial in building and operating the foundations that power Decagon's services across networking, data, ML serving, developer platform, and real-time voice. The role focuses on designing and implementing high-scale, low-latency systems with clear SLOs and excellent developer ergonomics.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for owning critical services end-to-end, improving reliability and performance, and creating paved-paths for the engineering team. The position requires 6+ years of experience in production infrastructure, with expertise in areas such as Core Infrastructure, Data Infrastructure, ML Infrastructure, Platform (DevEx), or Voice Infrastructure.
