Machine Learning Engineer

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about leveraging their technical skills in a purpose-driven environment to improve healthcare outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models (BERT + LLM) into real-world production applications
• Implementing and maintaining ML pipelines
• Analyzing and manipulating raw data formats (FHIR, JSON, CSV) for ML model training and deployment
• Utilizing AWS services for data engineering and machine learning tasks
• Assisting in data ingestion and processing of streaming data through ML models
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Ensuring data integrity, availability, and privacy

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, and deploying models into production
• Strong programming skills in Python, Kotlin/Java, or Scala
• Experience with distributed computing systems (AWS)
• Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, S3, ECS
• Experience with microservices and event-driven systems
• Expert in deploying machine learning models, especially BERT models and LLMs
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
