Dell Technologies' Unstructured Data Storage group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their System Engineering Team in Warsaw, Poland. This role is part of the team delivering PowerScale and ObjectScale, core solutions of Dell's AI Platform. The position focuses on creating and maintaining frameworks and tools for continuous integration, release management, and infrastructure observability. The role has a significant impact on hundreds of engineers worldwide, supporting Dell UDS engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years of experience in networking and vCenter, with strong expertise in SRE practices, automation frameworks, and infrastructure management. They should be proficient in Python programming, Linux systems, and Docker, with experience in database administration and LDAP services. The role requires excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer (System Engineering, Infrastructure)
- Maintain automated processes, virtual and hardware infrastructure
- Monitor systems and troubleshoot failures for large scale distributed storage environments
- Contribute to the design and implementation of tools for Continuous Integration pipeline
- Implement company standards and practices to ensure quality and security
- Develop solutions that improve the reliability of the software delivery process
- Learn and share knowledge through hands-on sessions and documentation maintenance
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer (System Engineering, Infrastructure)
- Up to 5 years of experience in networking and vCenter for large scale distributed environments
- Experience in applying SRE practices to automation frameworks using tools like Salt, Zabbix
- Knowledge of Linux, Docker, shell scripting
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL administration and LDAP directory service
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills for Agile/Scrum environment
- University degree and working proficiency in English
