Controls Software Engineer

Dematic, a KION Group company, is seeking a Controls Software Engineer to join their team in Lithuania. This role combines software engineering with industrial automation, focusing on PLC, HMI, and SCADA software design for material handling systems. The role involves designing and implementing controls solutions for automated material handling systems, ensuring they meet project requirements while maintaining cost and time constraints. You'll be responsible for software development, testing, and on-site commissioning, working with modern automation technologies like Siemens TIA Portal and distributed control systems.

As part of a global team, you'll have the opportunity to work on international projects, with travel comprising up to 60% of the role. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience in controls software or automation engineering, along with a strong educational background in automation or electrical engineering.
