Responsibilities For Controls System Support Engineer
- Provide second level technical support to maintenance team
- Prepare/assist with budget costing and quoting
- Complete regular system diagnostics and analysis procedures
- Prepare PLC programs and configure SCADA and PLC-related equipment
- Test and commission systems on site
- Prepare test plans and operator & technical manuals
- Train client personnel and provide customer support
Requirements For Controls System Support Engineer
- Degree in engineering or scientific discipline or electrical trade with tertiary qualifications
- Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens S7 preferred)
- Experience with SCADA applications like ICONICS, CITEC and WINCC
- Knowledge of materials handling system controls
- Ability to work without supervision and guide teams/projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Electrical trades licence qualification (highly regarded)
